Frequently asked questions

How does this work?

Bitcoin Accumulation Score is a data-driven dip-buying signal for your DCA. It combines 8 indicators (Fear & Greed, RSI, EMA200, MVRV, DXY, Liquidity, BTC Dominance, and Google Trends) into a single 0-100 score.

The higher the score, the further BTC looks below its own trend — and the more the tool suggests leaning into your DCA that day, instead of guessing by feel.

Does this actually work?

'Buy the dip' is one of the best-documented patterns in Bitcoin's history. What this tool adds is a consistent, testable definition of 'dip' instead of a gut feeling — and it's backtested since 2018.

We're not claiming to predict the market or find hidden alpha. This is disciplined, data-backed dip-buying — nothing more, nothing less.

How exactly is the score calculated?

Eight indicators are combined into a single 0-100 score: Fear & Greed, RSI14, EMA200 distance, BTC Dominance, MVRV, DXY 90-day change, Liquidity M2 YoY, and Google Trends percentile.

Each one is weighted by how much real predictive power it has shown in backtesting. RSI14 uses Wilder's smoothing method, the same standard TradingView and most charting platforms use, so it matches what you'd see elsewhere.

How do I actually buy Bitcoin?

Any regulated exchange works. If you don't already have one, Kraken is a solid, well-established option — and signing up through our link below helps support this project, at no extra cost to you.
